"I Tom Sinclair, Roads Manager for the Municipality of Central Huron, used DM 35 on a trial basis for dust control in 2012.  The product was supplied and applied by Pollard Highway Products and produced by its related company, Trillium Distribution Inc.

I noticed no difference in the products performance as a dust control agent when compared against pure 35% liquid calcium that we have regularly used in the past.  Due to this being an extremely drier year than we have seen in the past, the product performed extremely well and we are much satisfied with the product.

It should be noted that our Municipality is in favour of having an Ontario produced alternative, and is welcomed in light of supply chain features and limited product access during the short dust control season."

"Our company, Les Entreprises Bourget Inc, has used over 5 million liters of DM 35 supplied by Trillium Distribution Inc. on municipal and private gravel roads for dust control this spring/summer in Quebec.  The product was approved by the Quebec BNQ under certificate 1707, protocol BNQ 2410-900 2010-01-12 (Products used as dust control agents for non-asphalted roads and other similar surfaces).

We noticed no difference in the product performance as a dust control agent when compared against pure 35% liquid calcium.  We were told that the product performed as well as 35% calcium chloride or 30% magnesium chloride that they used last year. compared the weight change of the mixed concentrated calcium-magnesium brine (DM35*) to 30% magnesium chloride and 35% calcium chloride under climate controlled conditions."
